Daniel Cleland worked as the lead landscape architect during the design and construction of the roadway project.
- Enhanced desert landscape for 2 ½ miles of roadway
- Develop a sense of "Entry" for the desert park
- Site plant inventory and salvage of native plant materials
- Reconnaissance of existing cultural icons, view corridors and washes
- On-site plant nursery storage for salvaged cacti and specimen trees
